How to become a member?

Pop in to Dunston Leisure Centre and ask for a membership at the reception. A membership runs from 1 September to 31 August.

What can I do with my membership?

The membership makes you eligible for:-

  • discounted court booking
  • discounted development sessions
  • participation in our ladder competition
  • an opportunity to be selected for one of the club’s teams

I don’t want to commit just yet. Can I still get in touch?

Yes. We’re running weekly squash development sessions. They are every Saturday from 12:45 until 15:00. There is a slightly higher fee for a session if you’re not a member.

How do I get my games in?

Simple. Become a member and join our ladder competition.

What’s the club’s location?

The club operates at Dunston Leisure Centre which is owned by Gateshead Council. The Centre’s address is: Gateshead, NE11 9PY.

How do I book a court?

You can book a court by either ringing Dunston Leisure Centre or using the Gateshead Active Online Booking.

Does the club participate in any inter-club competition?

playersYes. The club has four teams participating in the Northumbria Squash League. You can follow the results of each of the teams on their website. Each team plays home and away matches against clubs as far afield as Alnwick in the north and Sunderland in the south.

The team selection takes place in August each year.
